Membership and Refund Policy

This Membership and Refund Policy was last modified on February 15, 2024.

Kore Dance Academy (“us”, “we”, or “our”) currently offers memberships for all of our training programs on a month-to-month basis. By signing up for one of our programs, you are agreeing to pay for a minimum of one month of training at the price indicated on our website. Please note the price differences between our various programs. They are clearly indicated on our website, but please feel free to contact us at koredanceacdemy@gmail.com if you require further clarification on pricing.

 

Billing Date

The day of the month you sign up for the program will be the date you are billed every month (for example, if you sign up on February 15th, you will be charged the first month's dues on February 15th and your next billing date will be March 15th). Some of our programs may give you the option to indicate a desired start date (if, for example, you would like to claim a spot in one of our programs, but do not intend to start until next month). If you have this option available and utilize this option, the desired start date you indicate during your checkout process will then be your billing date every month.

Recurring Payment

By signing up for one of our programs and completing payment, you are agreeing to a recurring monthly charge to the card or other payment source you used during your initial sign up. We reserve the right to change the recurring charge amount if elements of our training programs change such that an adjustment in price (lower or higher) is appropriate. If you are an active, paying member of one of our programs, you will be notified directly of any changes in the program prior to those changes being implemented. We will notify you through at least one of (but not limited to) the following communication channels: email, phone, or WhatsApp. We may ask for confirmation that you have received our message but are not obligated to wait for your confirmation of receipt prior to implementing any changes.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

If you are not interested in continuing with one of our programs following a program price change, you may cancel your membership directly via our website or reach out to our team at koredanceacademy@gmail.com for assistance. In the event of a price increase, if you have been charged at the new program price but have not attended a training session since the price change was implemented, you may request a membership cancellation and be eligible for a full refund. If you have already attended a training session since the price change was implemented, you have voided your right to request a refund on the basis of the price change. In the event of a price decrease, you may be eligible for a refund in the amount of the difference between the old membership price and the new membership price (to account for any decrease in membership benefits that may have occurred).

If you decide you would like to cancel your membership for any other reason, as long as you cancel your membership via the website or by messaging our team prior to your next billing date, you will not be charged again, and you will be able to attend any and all training sessions up until your next billing date. After that point, unless you reverse your decision and continue to pay the monthly membership fee, you will not be allowed to attend any future training sessions.

Outside of refund requests related to price changes, the issuance of membership refunds (partial or full) is entirely at our discretion. We will take into account all relevant information when making a decision regarding (a) whether to issue a refund and (b) the amount of the refund.

Changing Payment Information

​

If you need to change your payment information following the receipt of a new credit card, change in banks, etc, please update that information directly on your koredanceacademy.com account or reach out to our team at koredanceacademy@gmail.com for further assistance. Our team may ask you to sign up again on our website using your new card information; this will not incur any additional cost to you (beyond the expected and aforementioned monthly program dues).

Termination

​

We reserve the right to terminate anyone's membership, effectively immediately, and bar them from joining other Kore Dance Academy programs if at least one of (but not limited to) the following behaviors are exhibited: excessive disruption, sexual harassment, or other inappropriate behavior. In the event of a membership termination, no refund will be issued for the remainder of the billing month and the terminated member may be prevented from attending any more sessions that fall within their last billing month.
